So I’ve been seeing many tweets today from @PoliticalMath regarding the data from Recovery.gov. Among my favorites was:

So GigaOm is reporting that the government has to make decisions on Broadband Stimulus payouts. All the time they don’t have any idea on where the money should be spent as they have no reliable maps showing where there are broadband gaps. Today I have to say I am actually scared of the Democrats and Obama. I don’t say this lightly as I’ve not been scared before. Now we have Obama seeking to gain the power to take over private companies at his discretion.

Well it happened today the Senate passed Obama’s stimulus debt plan. It seems three Republican morons crossed the line and helped it pass:

Sen. Olympia Snowe [R, ME]
Sen. Arlen Specter [R, PA]
