Declan McCullagh over at CNET is reporting that one of two recent picks by President Elect Obama are RIAA attorney’s. I think this is an interesting blow to the Digg heads and RIAA opponents that supported Obama.

Engadget is reporting that RIAA president Cary Sherman said that ripping was ok and that the RIAA has never gone after anyone for ripping CDs.
