I found this article on the Washington Times about the increasing violence against border agents by illegal aliens coming up from the south. It seems like no surprise to me that we are seeing more violence on the border. After all we are the ones putting agents in jail for doing their job [...]

So there was this 70 year-old man that had 2 separate instances where intruders broke into his business/home and he defended himself. In both cases the police stated he did nothing wrong. Tennessee State University bans all guns including toy guns. Included in this blog article by Terry Frank is a comment I find particularly telling:
State Rep. Thelma Harper, who represents the TSU district, said college students need help and protections, but said guns were not the right idea.

According to a News blog entry over at CNET News Jack Thompson is suing Gawker Media over comments on blog entries at Kotaku.
