New gop.com site costed $1.4 million bucks!

According to LGF the GOP spent nearly $1.4 million dollars to build and host the new gop.com site. The same site I ranted about previously. This site was worth no where near $1.4 million bucks. I have to believe someone was either drunk/stoned when signing the contract or there was some funny [...]



New gop.com website: My Impressions

So this morning I saw a Twitter post by Meghann Parlett (@MeghannParlett) that the new gop.com site had gone live. So I launched my browser and found the page was almost completely blank and useless without Javascript enabled. Even the logo was not visible on the site.

This was disappointing as it indicated [...]

In the 2008 election there was little doubt that President Obama had a firm foot hold in new media and social networking sites. I think this is in part that he is technically savvy and he surrounded himself with technically savvy folks. There is little doubt that John McCain wasn’t prepare for this [...]

According to data gathered by Mat Morrison on the Mediaczar blog Republican’s in congress rule the roost over on Twitter.
