Today I have to say I am actually scared of the Democrats and Obama. I don’t say this lightly as I’ve not been scared before. Now we have Obama seeking to gain the power to take over private companies at his discretion.

Then you have Obama and the Dems seeking to over haul our volunteer programs and create “mandatory” volunteerism among students. I really don’t see how this is volunteering if the students have no choice. Additionally these kinds of programs will politicize charities and will hurt religious charities the most as they are excluded from participation. This also hurts charities like ALS Association that focus on an uncommon but devastating diseases. I have a personal stake in that as my father in-law died of this disease last year. We should be finding ways to encourage donations and volunteerism with out creating additional bureaucracies and massive government funding.

Finally you have Obama’s own Treasury secretary stating the US is “quite open” to a global currency as suggested by the Chinese. With the massive debt the US is incurring to pay for his massive government spending we are increasingly selling out America to the Chinese, and others. This sellout will put the US in a position of weakness. Even the President of the EU said Obama’s economic policies are “a way to hell“. I couldn’t have said it better myself.
